The Made by Hand Show is returning to the International Centre, Hall 4 in Mississauga, Ontario on Saturday April 21, 2012. This show will feature over 150 artists, artisans and designers from across Canada including wood, glass, ceramics, clothing, fashion accessories, art, jewelry, original paintings, photography, knitting, pottery and gourmet goodies. Bring the children for face-painting special guest appearance from a Disney Princess. With a variety range of prices and styles, there is something for everyone. Don’t forget to pick up something for yourself too. 1st 100 shoppers receive a free swag bag filled with goodies from our vendors/sponsors. Admission is a $2 donation to Crafting for a Cure. My name is Shannon Laackmann. I have a company called Goddess Power with the Psychic Cowgirl that I run from a ranch in west central Alberta. my business works around being a mom to two young cowboys, wife, and rancher. I am the Psychic Cowgirl. I offer readings/session to clients to help them get a new perspective on their life. Meet Nancy:
My name is Nancy Polanco and I'm the author of Whispered Inspirations.
Writing has always been something very dear to me. I haven't ever NOT written.
Mostly, I write for its therapeutic value and the ability to connect with like-minded people. I believe that making a connection and being able to inspire and seek inspiration from others is a beautiful thing.
I'm a converged journalist and I worked in broadcasting for a low-budget Latin entertainment show. Due to a long commute, I opted to return to school and get into healthcare. I now work in the healthcare field and I throughly enjoy helping others and I wish I would have done it sooner.

Since writing is still a huge part of me and so is being a Canadian mother, I write about my experiences through parenthood and what I'm learning everyday by raising two little girls. I write about the ups and downs of life altogether and invite you all on my journey.
You can also find tips on how to become green and work towards living a more environmentally friendly life. Tips for travelling, travelling with kids and family friendly topics.
I have a wide array of different product reviews that moms and dads would enjoy for their kids and babies, products for moms that I find are super useful and uberly great! My list is growing and I'm enjoying trying new products and recommending products that I already use for busy, everyday life.
Another passion of mine is breastfeeding, I am very pro-breastfeeding but, I don't harbor any judgment for those who don't choose to nurse their babies. You can find my own experiences and valuable links to great breastfeeding resources.
One of the greatest things that I enjoy doing on this world-wide-web is engaging and connecting with new men and women, parents and anyone making the same trek through life as I am. Not only via my blog but having the great opportunity to work with Kat from Kat's Confessions on this very community.

All About Lorna d’Entremont
I grew up in a rural area in Nova Scotia, Canada. One of my favorite subjects, as a student and a teacher, has been Geography. Early in my career, during our two months summer break, my husband and I, with two other teachers, tented across Canada and back. When our kids were 10, 11 and 15 yrs, my husband and I camped three weeks with our three children through half a dozen European countries. My husband and I have gone to Europe two more times since then. Chatting with the people in each place we visit is the best part of the trips.
Special needs interests me as a mother and grandmother of children with Tourette and sensory perception issues. I have a blog for families of Special Needs children with over 100 posts with information on new research or studies, reviews of books for parents and SN kids, evaluations of resources or accessories for SN kids and personal stories about the challenges our own family faced and now our grandchild faces.
I taught middle-school for 30 years and though I am retired, I keep quite busy as my daughter's business partner. Pierrette designed and now we sell the Sensory tool line, Kid Companions chewelry. Our oral-motor chewable fidgets are sourced in USA/Canada, made in Canada and sold to the world!
