The Review: I was given the opportunity to review the Just...Trial Sample Pak. This little beauty contains: one 30ml bottle of Just... Shampoo, one 30ml bottle of Just... Conditioner, one 30ml bottle of Just... Body Butter, one 30ml bottle of Just... Moisturizing Lotion, one 30ml bottle of Just... Massage & Bath Oil, one 30ml bottle of Just... Organic Body Wash, one 50g bar of Just... Glycerin Bar Soap, one 4g regular size tube of Just... Beeswax Lip Balm and one Bath Scrubby all bundled up in a gift bag.
My Thoughts: Just...Shampoo: My first impression of the shampoo was that it is pretty thick compared to other shampoo I have used. I would say it has the consistency of honey. The shampoo didn't drip out of my hand or off my head as I worked it through my hair-big plus! As promised there was no scent to speak of and just a small amount covered all of my hair. Living in Alberta where the air is drier, I find my hair gets pretty frizzy. To my surprise after I used the Just... Shampoo I found my hair was way less frizzy, had a nice shine and felt super soft.
Just... Conditioner: Now here is a big one! I have tried other natural conditioners in the past and I always find the same thing- my hair looks greasy after I use it. Not with this conditioner though! I am sure the conditioner used in combination with the shampoo is what lead to my nice soft, shiny and frizz free hair! The Just... Conditioner was very, very, very thick. I had to use two hands to squeeze it out of the bottle-I could be just weak, but seriously this stuff is thick! As we all know thick conditioner is gooooood conditioner! Just... Body Wash and
Just... Body Butter: I have loved using all the products but I have to say these are my faves. A small amount of body wash on the bath scrubby that was also provided went a long way but I do have to say it is quite a bit thinner then the shampoo and conditioner. I didn't think it would come out of the bottle as easy as it did so a heads up- poor cautiously.
The Just... Body Butter was thick and left my skin silky smooth with no greasy feeling left behind. The body wash had already made my skin silky smooth but the body butter took it to a whole new level of smoothness. My husband even noticed! Coming from someone that has only made any kind of "your skin is so soft" type comments a handful of times in the last 11 years, that is a huge accomplishment!
Just... Moisturizing Lotion: I am a lotion junky. I was my hands no less then 3000 times a day so without the use of lotion my skin looks like something out of a horror film. The Just... Moisturizing Lotion worked into my skin quickly ( just what I need with up to 7 kids around at any given time) and although it did have a bit of a greasy feel at first, it went away pretty quick. My hands have never looked so good!
Just... Massage and Bath Oil: Massage and bath oils are another product I don't generally use but if I were to choose a massage and bath oil I would have no qualms about using the Just... Massage and Bath oil. It could make a nice addition to date nights! ;) I used the massage and bath oil in one of my baths and it did make a nice treat to give my skin a little extra TLC.
Just... Glycerin Bar Soap: I don't generally use bar soap. With four kids I find it a lot quicker and easier to pump soap but I gave the Glycerin Bar Soap a shot. It was just as nice to use as the other products, leaving my skin feeling soft and moist. If you are a bar soap user, I'm sure you will love it!
Just... Beeswax Lip Balm: My lips are always dry but my oldest son's lips are awful. We both tested the Just... Beeswax Lip Balm out. My son like that there was no "girly" smell to the lip balm, it wasn't "sticky" and that he didn't have to use it as often as other lip balms. I noticed within a few days, his lips were looking a lot healthier. The best part- I haven't had to nag at him to apply the lip balm. He has started using it regularly without me saying a word.
I used it for a couple of days and liked how healthy and moist my lips looked and felt before I lost complete access to the lip balm. Overall, Shian Naturals has great products and I love that they are more then happy to tell you exactly what ingredients are used in their products.
